TOBACCO dispensing machine manufacturer Cherwell Group has released an automated delivery system to meet government regulations on the display of tobacco which come into force on April 6, 2015.
The dispense machine uses a secure delivery system which is said to ensure speed of service and require minimum staff movement, but does not display tobacco products to the public.
Mark O’Dolan, trading director at Cherwell Group, said the machine is designed to help retailers comply with regulations.
“Our solution is the retailers’ choice as it allows retailers to actually benefit from the new legislation by replacing the tobacco gantry with a tobacco dispensing machine allowing retailers to merchandise product on the front and or media screens to advertise their product,” said O’Dolan.
