THE team behind German beer Krombacher Pils in the UK said it is optimistic for the brand’s future in the on-trade following the release of new sales figures.
The latest figures for the brand, covering the first nine months of 2014, showed volume sales up by 48% on the same period in 2013.
By format, keg volume sales were up 30% while bottles were up 72%. Stephan Kofler, UK sales director for Krombacher Pils, said the country “has been identified as a strategic market for Krombacher”.
“We are confident that Krombacher volume sales in the on-trade will continue to grow,” he said.
