THE firm behind Woodford Reserve has extended the bourbon brand’s portfolio in the UK on-trade with the launch of Woodford Reserve Double Oaked.
The variant takes its name from a ‘twice-barrelled’ approach to ageing the liquid, which is said to extract additional amounts of the “soft, sweet oak character” of the barrels.
Nidal Ramini of Bacardi Brown-Forman Brands, the firm behind Woodford Reserve in the UK, said the brand “has long produced award-winning whiskey with a legacy of craftsmanship and innovation”.
“The distinctive flavour of Woodford Reserve Double Oaked is sure to excite fans; whilst the bottles will look fantastic on any back-bar, making Woodford Reserve Double Oaked a sure hit with whiskey connoisseurs and bartender collectors alike,” said Ramini.
