PROPERTY firm Bruce & Co has sold Hotel Ceilidh-Donia in Edinburgh city centre to a Chinese consortium for £1,299,000.

The agent described the 17-bedroom hotel near Dalkeith Road as a “characterful Victorian property”.
Jayne Adamson, manager of Bruce & Co, said the new owners were “delighted to purchase a property in a historic part of Scotland’s capital city”.
“We are pleased to have been able to work closely with both the vendors and purchasers throughout this process,” she said.
“This business presents the buyers with a unique and exciting opportunity to own not only a successful and prestigious business, but also a beautifully-presented Victorian building in an idyllic location.”
