Wee sleekit cow’rin tim’rous whisky

WHISKY specialist Douglas Laing & Co has released a new Highland ‘vatted’ malt called Timorous Beastie.

The whisky takes its name from Robert Burns’ To a Mouse, which refers to a timid field mouse.
But Douglas Laing MD and master blender Fred Laing said the small batch release is anything but timid.
“What we have within the heart of our Timorous Beastie vatted malt is a selection of great Highland malts on their own,” he said. “Together they combine brilliantly.”
