ORGANISERS of Inverness craft beer festival North Hop 2014 have joined forces with Windswept Brewing Co to produce a limited edition beer for this year’s festival.
The 3.7% ABV brew is said to be based on the Lossiemouth brewery’s Windswept Blonde beer but with a “twist”.
The beer will be available to buy in 1/3 or 2/3 pints at the festival, which will be held at Eden Court, Inverness, on August 29 and 30.
Festival organiser Michelle Russell said it is “great having such a young but well-established brewery like Windswept involved in this project”.
“I have enjoyed creating this brew with the team at Windswept Brewing Co and I’m looking forward to seeing how it goes down with festival goers,” she said.
Windswept Brewing Co was launched in 2012. The brewery will be showcasing a selection of six of its beers at the festival alongside the ‘one off’ beer.
