THE Hendrick’s Carnival of Knowledge kicks-off today (August 7) at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
The Scottish gin brand has scheduled a programme of events that aim to provide “intellectual sustenance” alongside a Hendrick’s-themed cocktail bar.
Covering a range of subjects from murder, taxidermy and the art of voodoo to brains, smell, and comic books, the Hendrick’s Carnival runs until August 10 at One Royal Circus.
The venue will also host the Hendrick’s Parlour Bar for the duration of the event.
Duncan McRae, Hendrick’s British ambassador, said the brand was “thrilled to be returning to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival”.
“Guests at the carnival can expect to have their minds tickled and expanded through attending one of our intriguing lectures and their thirsts quenched with decadent cocktails from our cocktail bars,” said McRae. “With such a variety of incredible entertainments on offer, the Hendrick’s Gin contribution to this years’ Festival will be a riotous experience of knowledge and entertainment for lovers of gin and literature everywhere.”
