GLASGOW private members’ club 29 has been named as the official ‘cultural and hospitality home’ of Jamaica during the Commonwealth Games.
The venue, functioning as Jamaica House for the duration of the Games, will host opening and closing parties for Jamaican visitors as well as a Jamaican sporting museum, which will be open to the general public.
Jamaican dishes will be added to the club’s menu, as well as Red Stripe beer and Appleton rum.
