TWO coastal properties on opposite sides of the country have come onto the books of Bruce & Co.

On the west coast, Richmond Guest House in Ayr offers prospective buyers the chance to acquire a town centre property within walking distance of both the sea front and the railway station.
Accommodation at the guest house comprises six en suite bedrooms, with public areas including a guests’ lounge and dining room.
Selling agent Bruce & Co said the sale represents a “rare opportunity for a new owner to purchase a high quality, beautifully presented Ayrshire property which is trading well whilst offering the potential for expansion”.
Offers over £469,950 are sought for the heritable property, fixtures and fittings.
Meanwhile, in Aberdeenshire, The Harbour Bar in Gourdon is up for sale.

Housed in a traditional stone building, the Harbour Bar is said to seat 25 covers with a conservatory area providing seating for an additional 30 people; there’s also a 36-cover patio area.
An annex to The Harbour Bar, which was constructed in 2010, houses two en suite letting rooms, which are wheelchair accessible.
The top floor of the property houses three-bedroom owner’s accommodation, which is accessed from a separate entrance at the front of the building.
Bruce & Co described the sale of The Harbour Bar as a “unique opportunity to purchase a thriving and lucrative business, which is presented in truly walk-in condition”.
The Harbour Bar is being marketed with an asking price of £399,950 for the freehold interest.
