TENNENT Caledonian has launched a low-alcohol lemon-flavoured lager in the off-trade in time for summer.
Described as a “light lager with a refreshing lemon taste”, Lemon T has an ABV of 2.8% ABV and is said to be pitched at consumers who are “looking for a fresh alternative, particularly over the summer months”.
“With Lemon T we didn’t just focus on a lower strength, we also concentrated on taste – there’s a subtle lager flavour but the lemon makes it really fresh,” said Paul Condron, marketing director of Tennent Caledonian Breweries.
“I think when people taste it, they’ll find it a refreshing change.”
