SHETLAND-based Lerwick Brewery has appointed its first sales manager as the firm seeks to expand its presence in the Scottish market.
Alison Graham takes up the post of on-trade Scottish sales manager today (May 1), bringing experience in a range of sales and customer service positions.
John Mercer, marketing manager at Lerwick Brewery, said the appointment was a “significant move”.
“It demonstrates our determination to maximise all opportunities for the brewery and its beers in the Scottish marketplace,” said Mercer.
Alison Graham said she is “thrilled to have the opportunity to help extend the market reach of such an exceptional brewery”.
The Lerwick Brewery is shortlisted in this year’s Scotland Food and Drink Excellence awards, to be held on May 22.
