• The Lochnell Arms Hotel’s conservatory restaurant is said to offer views of Loch Etive.

NEW tenants have been found for the Lochnell Arms Hotel in North Connel, on the outskirts of Oban, in a deal brokered by property firm Smith & Clough.

The hotel comprises ten en suite rooms, owner’s accommodation, a public bar, lounge bar, carvery, dining rooms and a conservatory restaurant said to offer views of Loch Etive.
Graeme Smith of Smith & Clough said the Lochnell Arms Hotel is “a well-established business with outstanding views”.
“After only a short period of marketing high levels of interest were generated from all over Scotland with the new lease eventually being granted to a local couple with extensive experience in the trade,” he said. Nil premium and a rental of £50,000 per annum were agreed, according to Smith & Clough.
