SOGRAPES, the firm behind Portuguese wine brand Mateus, has expanded its UK portfolio with the launch of the Mateus Expressions range.
A combination of the brand’s international and Portuguese variants, the Mateus Expressions range comprises three rosé wines – Baga & Shiraz, Baga & Muscat and Argonez & Zinfandel – and one white wine – a Gomes and Chardonnay blend.
Matt Douglas of Sograpes’ UK distributor, Stevens Garnier, said the new range presents “an opportunity to present some of the most interesting Portuguese wine varietals in a contemporary and relevant way”.
