GLASGOW Central Station is to gain two food and drink venues this year with the arrival of Gordon Street Coffee and Alston’s Bar & Beef in May.
The new outlets are said to represent a £1 million investment from Glendola Leisure Group, whose Scottish portfolio includes the Carlton George Hotel, Waxy O’Connor’s, Horton’s & Frankenstein’s.
Alex Salussolia of Glendola said the Central Station site presents a “fantastic opportunity” for the firm.
“We want to build somewhere that will be an attractive destination for commuters and those using the station,” said Salussolia.
