CZECH brewer Budvar has unveiled a new packaging design across its beer range.

The new-look Budvar bottles, which are currently being rolled out to the UK on-trade, are said to “better reflect” the beer’s quality and its “relevance to a younger generation” of drinkers.
Ian Moss, marketing controller at Budvar UK, said the old packaging had served the brand well but was in need of a refresh.
“The new design is very much of now, from its elegant foil cap to a flowing curvaceous label that gives a real ‘come on’ to the drinker,” said Moss.
Budvar’s label overhaul follows the brewer’s introduction of the 3.8% ABV Pardal to the UK on-trade last year, the first new UK-wide Budvar product launch since introducing a 4.1% ABV yeast beer five years ago.
