WKD shows Irish side

St Patrick’s Day

PUB customers are being given the chance to win their very own ‘Shamrock Head’ hat as part of a St Patrick’s Day promotion for WKD.

The hats are included in promotional kits which also contain posters promoting St Patrick’s Day-themed WKD cocktails and scratch cards. Consumers receive a scratch card with every purchase, with each one providing a 50:50 chance of winning one of the hats.
Debs Carter, marketing director for WKD at parent company SHS drinks, said the hats will “certainly make wearers stand out in a crowd”.
“With St Patrick’s Day falling on a Monday, there are opportunities for licensees to start celebrations at the weekend in order to maximise sales uplifts,” said Carter. “This year’s St Pat’s activity will create a real buzz amongst consumers and generate incremental sales.”
