New king sought for Glencoe hotel

A GLENCOE hotel set in substantial grounds has come onto the books of Christie & Co.

Said to be achieving sales in excess of £800,000 per year, the Kings House Hotel is close to ski slopes, popular climbing spots and the West Highland Way.
The property is set in 150 acres of ground and comprises 12 en suite letting rooms and a further ten rooms with shared bathroom facilities.
The hotel also has a 60-cover lounge bar, 50-cover “climbers’ bar” and a restaurant, which can accommodate 50 people.
Beyond the main building, there’s a three-bedroom owner’s bungalow with lounge and kitchen, and a bunkhouse which is used for staff accommodation.
The Kings House Hotel currently trades all year round, closing for three weeks over Christmas.
