BEERS from Isle of Man brewery Okell’s are to be launched in the UK on-trade.
Drinks importer Morgenrot will distribute the full Okell’s range, which comprises five core ales in nine-gallon casks (Manx Pale Ale, Bitter, Olaf, IPA and Jiarg) and four bottled beers (Maclir, IPA, Aile, 1907). A selection of seasonal ales will also be available throughout the year.
The move marks Morgenrot’s first venture into the cask ale market.
Graham Archibald, national account director for the distributor, said the Okell’s brand has already received “astounding interest”.
“With our world beer seeing strong growth, we have felt that a quality British ale brand would enhance and be a key asset to our portfolio,” said Archibald.
