EDINBURGH visitor attraction The Scotch Whisky Experience has opened its new bar, boasting a range of 360 different single malt, single grain and blended whiskies.

The latest stage of a four-year, £4 million investment programme, the bar was designed by Edinburgh design firm Bright 3D, with input from woodcraft specialist Laurence McIntosh.
In addition to its extensive whisky range, the bar, which is adjacent to the venue’s Amber restaurant, features furniture created from reclaimed oak staves from whisky barrels and an interactive wall-mounted whisky selector, which provides visitors with information on whiskies and distilleries in 20 different languages.
Julie Trevisan Hunter, head of marketing at The Scotch Whisky Experience, said: “As we celebrate our 25th year, it is exciting to be unveiling another part of The Scotch Whisky Experience that will delight even more visitors.
“The team takes pride in offering a five star experience and this bar is another example of excellence alongside our superb shop, visitor offering and highly skilled staff.”
