GLASGOW’S Grand Central Hotel has been named Hotel of the Year by its parent company Principal Hayley for the second year running.
The city centre property fought off competition from 22 other Principal Hayley hotels this year, including The George Hotel in Edinburgh, to be awarded the prize at a gala ceremony.
Laurie Nicol, Grand Central general manager, said: “We are absolutely delighted to be named Principal Hayley Hotel of the Year for the second year running.
“Grand Central is a hotel with personality, run by people with a tireless passion and enthusiasm to ensure that guests receive the very best experience whether they are staying with us for two weeks or popping in for a glass of Champagne.
“Principal Hayley has amazing hotels in its portfolio and we are delighted that Grand Central has been recognised in this way.”
