A BOAT named after Wick single malt Old Pulteney was due to embark on a round the world sailing race, as SLTN went to press.
Named in a special ceremony late last month by sailor Sir Robin Knox-Johnston, the clipper yacht is set to tour the world with stops including Rio de Janeiro, Cape Town and Singapore.
Marketing activity is planned in a number of the brand’s key territories throughout the duration of the race.
