SALES of Inver House Distillers’ single malt Old Pulteney grew by almost a quarter in value in the year to December 2012, according to the firm’s latest financial results.
The increased sales were credited with boosting group turnover by 13%. However, underlying profit and gross profit margins both dropped for the year, which the distiller attributed to investment in stock and distillery sites.
