A BOUTIQUE hotel in Fort Augustus has won a top UK sustainability award in recognition of its environmental practices.
The Lovat was named Sustainable Business of the Year at this year’s Catey Awards, seeing off competition from national and London-based rivals.
Caroline Gregory, managing partner of The Lovat, said the hotel has been committed to reducing its carbon footprint since 2005.
“We have a great team at The Lovat and I am immensely proud of our contribution and commitment to making this level of sustainability possible,” she said.
