Edinburgh hotel Apex Waterloo Place has appointed Neil Caskie as the new deputy general manager.
Caskie, who has 20 years of hospitality experience, including a stint aboard the QE2, will assist general manager Alan Harbisher and the hotel’s 100 staff members in day-to-day operations.
Harbisher said the appointment comes at an “exciting time” as the Edinburgh festival nears.
