Snout wrong with new cider

CIDER firm H Weston & Sons has bolstered its portfolio with a new brand and two new draught products.

New brand Rosie’s Pig is described as a lower ABV alternative to Westons Old Rosie cider. Available to the on-trade in draught format, the 4.8% ABV cloudy medium-dry cider is said to offer an accessible entry point to the traditional cider category.
The firm has also introduced a further two draught products to its Henry Westons range.
Henry Westons Family Reserve (5% ABV) and Henry Westons Country Perry (4.5% ABV) are the first draught products in the Henry Westons range, which comprises bottled ciders.
“Our own research confirms that consumer interest in traditional ciders is gathering pace and the addition of these two new ciders, we believe, will create interest in the on-trade – appealing to the cider drinker seeking a premium quality drink, with a distinct heritage, provenance and taste,” said head of marketing Ian Lewis.
