Tennent’s revenues are up.

A strong performance from Tennent’s Lager helped to offset a dip in cider sales in the most recent financial results from C&C Group.

In the year ended February 28, UK revenues from Tennent’s Lager increased 2.6% on the previous year to
229.3 million, partially offsetting a 15.9% drop in UK cider revenues.
C&C’s UK cider volumes were down 15% in the same period, with UK Tennent’s volumes down 5.9%. Overall, the company’s operating profits increased 2.4% to 113.9m.
