ANGOSTURA has launched what it claims is the most expensive rum currently available in the UK.
Valued at US $25,000 per 500ml decanter, Legacy was created to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the independence of Trinidad. Jeweller Asprey of London was commissioned to create 20 crystal and silver decanters for the rum.
John Georges of Angostura said: “We set out to create the greatest sipping rum ever produced and we believe we have achieved something that is both unique and unequalled.”
