I&G set to launch lager

EDINBURGH beer firm Innis & Gunn is set to launch a helles-style lager to mark a decade in business.

Described as a well-balanced lager with a clean, crisp finish, the lager is the first beer to be released under the Innis & Gunn brand that has not been aged in oak barrels.
Made using British ingredients, the 4.6% ABV lager will launch in the on-trade in both packaged and draught formats in September.
I&G founder Dougal Sharp said the beer was designed to be a “flavourful lager that would deliver a really rewarding taste experience”.
