ACCOLADE Wines is set to launch a new range of Californian wine.
Acquired from Ascentia Wine Estates last June, the Geyser Peak range comprises Merlot, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc and is set to be launched in July. Three further additions to the range – a Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon and Pinot Grigio – will be added in January 2014.
Paul Hillier, marketing controller at Accolade, said Californian wine offers a “significant” opportunity.
“We believe the new Geyser Peak range presents an exciting opportunity for consumers looking for mid-range to premium level Californian wines,” he said.
“The brand already has a strong reputation for quality and a loyal consumer following in its domestic market and we are confident that our new range, skilfully crafted by our expert winemaker, will appeal to new international consumer audiences as well.”
