THE firm behind Gaymers is set to launch a new tropical variant of the cider in the off-trade.
The fifth addition to the range of fruit ciders, Gaymers Tropical Cider is described as a blend of pineapple, mango and passion fruit flavours with pear cider. At 4% ABV, the new flavoured cider comes in 500ml bottles and will be available in Asda from April 20 and Tesco next month.
Victoria Walker, head of innovation for Gaymers Cider, said the new tropical variant has been launched at a time when flavoured cider is experiencing “massive growth” in the off-trade.
“Recognising this growth and the space for innovation in the flavoured cider market, we have created what we believe to be a delicious new addition to the Gaymers line up,” she said.
“The new variant embodies the fun spirit and energy of the brand.”
