COCKTAIL mixer brand Funkin has launched its first cocktail mix to contain guarana seeds.
The ‘Funkin Brazilian’ combines a blend of mango, passion fruit and orange juice with Brazilian guarana seeds containing “twice the caffeine of coffee beans”.
The recommended serve is with vodka over ice. Funkin also suggests a mix with white rum to create a “Funkin Brazilian rum punch” or adding tequila for a “Brazilian Margarita”.
Funkin chief executive Andrew King said: “We’re launching Funkin Brazilian at a time when consumer demand for cocktails is greater than ever.”
Initially available in a one-litre pack online, the cocktail mixer will be launched in a 750ml container from next month.
