SCOTTISH brewers have won a clutch of awards in a UK-wide beer competition organised by the Society of Independent Brewers (SIBA).
Orkney Brewery was awarded a Best Business Development accolade in SIBA’s Business Awards, held as part of its Beer X event in Sheffield. In the Beer X competition, its Wayfarer IPA, Golden Amber and Northern Light ales all won bronze awards.
Cairngorm Brewing Company’s Black Gold took three gold awards, the Highland Brewing Company won one gold award, and Fyne Ales took two silver awards.
Other winners at the event included Williams Brothers Brewing Co.
