Veneruso forks-out on Le Sept

The Veneruso family, which operates Gennaro’s restaurant in the city’s Grassmarket, has bought Le Sept in Hunter Square.

ONE of Edinburgh’s long-standing restaurant operators has acquired another eatery in the capital.

The Veneruso family, which operates Gennaro’s restaurant in the city’s Grassmarket, has bought Le Sept in Hunter Square.
The move follows the retirement of owner/operators Malcolm Cole and Henri Oriol who have ‘hung up their whites’ after 30 years.
Alan Goldie, director at The Restaurant Agency who handled the sale, said: “We are delighted the restaurant and branding has been sold to the Veneruso family. Marcus Veneruso is to head up front of house and customers of Le Sept old and new are welcome back following a period of re-decoration.”
