The Cellar Restaurant at Ryan’s on Hope Street hosted the beer tasting, where consumers enjoyed a three-course menu created by French head chef Sandra Heidet. Dishes were matched to beers including Coors Light, Modelo, Blue Moon, and Sharp’s Doom Bar.
Guests also learned about the four steps in beer tasting.
Restaurant manager Laurie Ballantine said: “We know how customers like their wine paired with food but with so many good local and international beers out there now people are becoming more discerning about their beer choice and how they drink it.”
Anita Leslie from Molson Coors described the event as the “perfect evening for beer lovers”.
