Forum focus on funding

HOW hospitality and leisure businesses secure funding in the current economic climate was the focus of an industry discussion in Edinburgh last week.

Law firm Tods Murray’s Hospitality & Leisure Forum heard from a panel, including Ken Sims from Christie & Co, Paul Smith of Barclays and Mary Campbell of corporate finance house Blas. The discussion was chaired by Tods Murray banking and property finance partner Roddy Maclennan.
Katie Corrigan, head of the law firm’s hospitality and leisure team, said the event aimed to “de-mystify” what banks require in order to lend.
