The events, which kicked off at the end of January in Edinburgh, aim to introduce Scottish catering students to the world of brewing.
The first session, held at Edinburgh College, was attended by 15 students, and there are 40 attendees already confirmed for an event at Glasgow College of Food and Technology next month. The third course is scheduled to take place at Perth College in February 2014.
The sessions cover beer tastings, beer and food matching and information about the brewing process.
“We have always been aware of the importance of training, especially as the on-trade relies heavily on the ability of staff to bring beer to life,” said Jenny Elliott, brand activation manager at Molson Coors.
