Forum on funding

AN industry gathering hosted by law firm Tods Murray this month will look at ways hospitality businesses can access funding in the challenging economic climate.

The firm’s latest Hospitality & Leisure Forum will hear from a panel of expert speakers before guests are invited to join the debate.
The summit, taking place on Wednesday, February 13, will provide in-depth commercial guidance on how business owners can improve their chances of attaining finance.
Paul Smith of Barclays Bank will explain why the traditional route of bank finance is still a positive option while Mary Campbell OBE, of corporate finance firm Blas, will speak of alternative sources available to businesses. Ken Sims, of property firm Christie & Co, will provide an industry summary at the outset.
“Having spoken to our clients and forum members, we know how vital this issue is,” said Katie Corrigan, head of Tods Murray’s hospitality and leisure team.
