ONLINE ‘intelligent wholesale’ business Ooberstock is on track for expansion after securing more than £600,000 in a second round of fundraising.
Arran Heal, who set up the company last year, said the additional finance, which was mainly raised through existing shareholders, will help the drinks wholesaler delver the “most efficient ordering system, reliable and flexible delivery, extensive choice and competitive pricing”. It is now offering its customers free delivery on all orders, he said. “At a time of unavoidable industry price rises and inflationary pressures we are determined to continue to offer our customers great service and great value,” said Heal.
