Three go to Innis & Gunn

INNIS & Gunn, the Scottish beer firm, has expanded its team with three new appointments.

Rachel Sutherland has joined the Edinburgh-based company as quality sensory manager, with John Robertson recruited as European business development manager and Jackie Bain joining as production planner.
Sutherland was previously UK sensory co-ordinator at Heineken UK, while Robertson joins the firm from UB Group, where he was European account manager for Kingfisher.
Bain was formerly logistics planner at Devro (Scotland).
The appointments marked the end of a year-long recruitment drive at Innis & Gunn, which has seen the company double its workforce to 32 employees.
Innis & Gunn is said to have grown turnover by 62% in the 2011 financial year, which it said was driven by 178% growth in the US.
