A DUNDEE hotel located in a historic part of the ‘city of discovery’ has come onto the books of Cornerstone.
The Bruce Hotel is currently run as a bed and breakfast but the property agent said there is an opportunity for new owners to develop revenue streams.
“The Bruce Hotel currently trades on a bed and breakfast basis only to suit the current owner’s needs, offering a total of nine bedrooms as well as a dining room and kitchen,” said Cornerstone director Gordon Mair, who is marketing the leasehold with an asking price of £25,000.
“Although close to the city centre, the hotel is situated in a quiet residential area and has the added advantage of guest parking.
“The property is held on a lease with the business trading below the VAT threshold.
“This is an ideal opportunity as a low cost entry into an accommodation- based business which, although trading successfully, offers great further potential for new owners to expand trade. Currently most of the income comes from connections to Dundee University, which is nearby, including parents visiting children, those working at the university and other tourists visiting Dundee.”
