New bar laps up ale

Draught ale, traditional Scottish food and great service are the backbone of the offer.

A HOUSE ale specially-made by Perth’s Inveralmond Brewery is one of four ales on the drinks list at The Stag in Aberdeen.

The free house will also offer the Caledonian Brewing Company’s Flying Scotsman and Wells & Youngs’ Courage Directors, alongside beers from Innis & Gunn, Heineken and C&C Group (Tennent’s).
Bibendum is now the operators’ chief wine supplier following the demise of WaverleyTBS.
On food, the offer comprises a selection of traditional Scottish and contemporary pub meals. Mains range in price from £4.95 for pie, beans and chips (also available with mushy peas) to £8.95 for roasted chicken breast (wrapped in bacon and served with onion gravy and skirlie).
