BOWMORE has released a new Christmas gift pack for its 15 year old expression, Darkest.
As well as a bottle of Bowmore 15 year old Darkest, the pack –presented in a black box – contains a copper and wood stopper and two whisky glasses.
The Darkest expression is matured for 12 years in North American bourbon casks before spending a further three years in Spanish Oloroso sherry casks.
Bowmore master blender Rachel Barrie described the expression as “the dark and alluring side of Bowmore”.
“Seductive smokiness is balanced by rich dried fruit, treacle toffee and chocolate sweetness, with a drizzle of lime and sprinkle of sea salt to slice through the indulgence,” he said.
“With its wonderfully warming and velvety texture, it is perfect to warm your soul as darkness descends.”
The gift pack is priced £79.99.
