BBFB relaunches Pourfection with mobile access


BACARDI Brown-Forman Brands (BBFB) has relaunched its trade website, Pourfection, in time for winter, with a new design that is said to be easier to navigate.

The site,, is split into four key sections: Bar Set Up, Drinks & Menus, Sell More Spirits and Training.
Trade customers can find a range of tools and advice in each section, including a GP calculator and serve suggestions for each of the company’s spirits brands.
The site also provides operators with a quick and easy way to create customised menus, with a search function that lets them search for cocktails by ingredient, flavour profile and staff experience, before adding selected drinks to a ‘favourites’ list.
In order to calculate prices and profits from the list, publicans can enter the cost price of various ingredients and the site will generate an accurate cost price for each drink.
Additionally, several of the site’s key functions, including the GP Calculator and Cocktail Library, are now available on mobile phones, allowing publicans to create drinks lists and calculate profits on the move.
“The refreshed Pourfection website from BBFB provides licensees with even easier ways to create effective and lucrative menus, as well as new tips and advice for maximising their spirits offering,” said Ian McLaren, head of product training and mixology at BBFB.
“The new mobile enabled functions also make it even simpler for busy bartenders to ensure their drinks menus are cost-effective and worthwhile.”
BBFB’s portfolio includes Bacardi, Jack Daniel’s, Bombay Sapphire and Southern Comfort.
