EDINBURGH seafood restaurant Creelers is set to receive a root and branch refurbishment after changing hands.

The leasehold of Creelers in Hunter Square, just off the Royal Mile, was sold from an asking price of offers over ÂŁ99,500 on behalf of Tim and Fran James, who set up the business 16 years ago.
Christie & Co’s Barry McNeil, who handled the sale, said the new owners plan to rebrand the 70-cover restaurant and offer a new style of cuisine.
