EDINBURGH seafood restaurant Creelers is set to receive a root and branch refurbishment after changing hands.

The leasehold of Creelers in Hunter Square, just off the Royal Mile, was sold from an asking price of offers over £99,500 on behalf of Tim and Fran James, who set up the business 16 years ago.
Christie & Co’s Barry McNeil, who handled the sale, said the new owners plan to rebrand the 70-cover restaurant and offer a new style of cuisine.
