DAVID Jamieson has been appointed to the role of head chef at The Kailyard by Nick Nairn, the signature restaurant at Doubletree by Hilton Dunblane Hydro.
Jamieson, who has previously held senior roles at the Thistle Hotel in Glasgow and the Erskine Bridge Hotel, will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the kitchen at the restaurant, as well as staff training.
Nick Nairn said Jamieson will “bring a wealth of expertise which will enhance our output at the hotel as well as providing an excellent platform for young chefs to train under a fantastic mentor”.
“I am excited to be joining Doubletree by Hilton Dunblane Hydro and I can’t wait to start working with a fantastic team,” added Jamieson.
“As well as overseeing kitchen operations, I am thrilled to be involved in training new chefs as I am passionate about encouraging youngsters to enter this thriving industry.”
