A CATERING equipment supplier is aiming to position its environmentally friendly chafing dish heater as an alternative to traditional gel and wick burners.
Eco-burner launched its Chafo model earlier this year and is now offering the product to caterers on a loan basis free of charge, and with no minimum contract.
The company claims the burner can save caterers up to 30% of the cost of traditional heating methods, and is also fitted with safety features that ensure the burner extinguishes if it’s dropped or over-turned.
Eco-burner national sales and marketing manager, Lawrence Rippon, said the Chafo “provides a fantastic alternative to all the problems faced by establishments and their staff using more traditional chafing dish heating methods”.
