SPIRITS giant Brown-Forman has appointed a new ambassador for its American whiskey brands.
Tom Vernon, who has worked at a number of top UK bars including Smokestack in Edinburgh and Manchester’s Socio Rehab, will now be responsible for raising awareness of the American whiskey category as well as promoting Brown-Forman products Jack Daniel’s Single Barrel, Gentleman Jack and Woodford Reserve.
His role will see him working with bartenders across the UK, in cities such as Edinburgh, London and Manchester, where he will be hosting masterclasses and training sessions.
“I’m hugely excited to be bringing my passion, knowledge and experience to the role and I’m confident this will help build excitement around these leading brands, as well as the American whiskey category as a whole,” said Vernon.
