TENNENT’S unveiled the winners last week in a postcard competition which challenged consumers to replicate a recent ad campaign for Tennent’s Original Export.
The billboard ads twinned Scottish locations with historic Tennent’s export markets, creating such fictional destinations as Buenos Airdrie, to market the launch of Original earlier this year.
Drinkers were asked to create their own and post their entries on Facebook.
And after receiving hundreds of suggestions, Tennent’s confirmed the winners were 22 year old Robbie Huxtable’s Lanzarothesay (a blend of Lanzarote and Rothesay) and 26 year old David Morgan’s Monte Carluke (Monte Carlo and Carluke).
The creations were due to take pride of place on billboard sites across Scotland last month.
