A NEW Italian coffee machine is being marketed as an ideal fit for busy pubs.

The ‘bean to cup’ Gaggia Concetto has been designed to be easy for staff members to use, and is capable of producing 150 cups of coffee a day.
The machine, which is fitted with a power-management system that reduces power consumption during off-peak periods, is marketed in the UK by Watermark.
Features include a built-in coffee grinder, a steam wand and an electronic dosing system that can memorise an operator’s preferred espresso settings.
The system also contains an electrical element that can pre-heat cups prior to service.
“Gaggia’s new Concetto machine is ideal for pubs and bars where good coffee is required but staff are under great pressure to pull pints, mix cocktails and take food orders as well as making hot drinks,” Watermark said in a statement.
