A PERTHSHIRE restaurant is set to begin a ‘go-slow’ today (September 6).
The Riverview in the Atholl Arms Hotel, Dunkeld, is launching a monthly ‘slow food’ dining event, featuring ingredients “cooked to retain their natural goodness and flavour”. The inaugural four-course dinner, which will include wine and local cask ale pairings, is due to take place in the recently-refurbished restaurant today.
Alan Berwick, director of operations at the Atholl Arms Hotel, said the event aims to offer guests a “new twist on gourmet eating”.
“This will connect a love of good food with creative cuisine and a commitment to sourcing produce from surrounding local suppliers,” he said.
